Who are we?

Life Evangelism International Trust (L.E.I Trust) is a Christian non-profit organization focusing primarily on the following:

(1) The teaching and awareness of HIV/AIDS and other life threatening diseases to all peoples in South Africa

(2) Educational upliftment

(3) Humanitarian projects and job skills development to those who are deeply in need.

[2]      Our Request to you:

We are in need of finances in order to buy more sewing machines and overlockers for our already existing sewing project that is being taught to the people of Refilwe / Cullinin area, thus creating employment, also teaching the women to then go and generate their own businesses.

[3]      Why Refilwe area?

•  Refilwe has an extremely high unemployment rating in Tswane, South Africa
•  It has one of the highest HIV/AIDS statistics in the Tswane area
•  It has very little skills development projects running in the community
•  A very high percentage of the community are living underneath the poverty line
•  Is very underdeveloped with most people still living in shanty tin and wood houses

[3.1]     L.E.I AIDS Trust previous input into Refilwe

L.E.I AIDS Trust has been working in the Refilwe area for the past three years.  We are in joint partnership with the community by supplying the Ekukhanyeni Sewing Project with sewing machines, overlockers, cottons and material to help empower the women by assisting them in their job skills development project, thus creating jobs for the locals.

we have supplied this project so far with 14 different overlockers, sewing and knitting machines.
