                                               February  2007

Hi everyone,

Wow - 70 editions of the latest news in Africa we have now put out. Praise God!! God is good and we have certainly seen his hand in protection, provision, blessings, and miracles and so it goes on and on. Blessed be his name!

Elisras Trip:

We went through in February to Elisras to organize further conferences and crusades in the outer regions in more rural settlements, and also to hold meetings in various churches in Elisras itself.  Our trip to Elisras was very successful and we look forward to the abundance of what God will do in these upcoming meetings.

We also went and visited the school of the deaf to speak to the children there. The photos are of the deaf children singing a song through "signing" and then outside having some fun.

Prison Ministry:

In February we went and ministered again in the men's maximum security prison in Johannesburg. The guys there were all very excited to see us as this was the first time they let religious groups go back into the prison after the Christmas period.

It was a very successful day there as some new guys received Jesus Christ, some backsliders came back to the Lord, some delivered of spiritual bondages, preaching and prophetic word of knowledge spoken, and new leaders appointed inside the church there itself.

There has been a lot of new laws made over this past year concerning the prison, and so now we are only allowed to see 1 or 2 sections of men at a time and not all together. (as they need more staff to help with the control of security etc.).

The men looked strong in the Lord as we visited with them with a lot of new up and coming leaders among them.

Please remember to pray for this church - more than ever they need our prayers, and to know that there are those who care about them from the outside!!

SET ME FREE

With thunder crashing all around

And lightning brightening up the sky

I feel your mighty presence Lord

Your power straight from "on high"

For you alone are worthy

To receive all glory and praise

There is none that can compare to you

Jesus - my saving grace

Chorus/

I'll praise you through the thunder

I'll praise you through the storm

Even when lightning changes my world around me

For you - I'll keep holding on

Through you I have the power

I have the victory

When you died on the cross for me that day

You gave the power that - SET ME FREE

I never will forget you Lord

As your presence is all around

And even with the rain that falls

It reminds me with it's sound

The blood that flowed from your body and hands

As you died to lift me up

Jesus, Jesus - what can I say

May I always drink from your cup

Bridge/

You set me free  x3

Also - if anyone has different ideas for fundraising - please write to us on the above email address and share them with us, as we would like to hear your different thoughts and see if it could help us with raising funds for the South African people in desperate need.

SHIFTING HOUSE

We have to shift house at the end of the February month due to the fact that our landlords sold the plot we have been living on for the past couple of years. So we are having to make one big shift as we move all our gear not only for our household - but all our ministry gear as well.         -Whew!!

We searched and found a nice house in a quiet suburb of Pretoria which isn't too "over the top" in rent.

It was hard for us to find another house as we have so much gear, plus the prices for rental here in South Africa have sky rocketed through the roof, so we are very grateful at what we have been given. Our email and postal address will remain the same, and when we get the phone line put on I will let you all know our new phone number.

NELSTROOM

We went and ministered up in Nelstroom this past weekend and were welcomed with arms wide open. We had a wonderful time there with both the congregation and the leadership also. God really moved in the service and the Senior Pastor said that it was like spiritually - a new year has now begun. Something really broke spiritually while we were up there and a new freedom was formed. We prayed for many people whilst up there, and many received their healing.     Praise to the Lord!

PRAYER NEEDS:

Financial support on regular basis

Short term missions teams to come out from other countries and be involved in the work of the Lord.

God bless you all
