                                 March 2007

Hi everyone,

Good to be able to share with you all what God is doing over here in South Africa.

We have had quite a few changes already this year in the ministry and ourselves personally. WOW - God is really faithful in all things!!

As mentioned in one of our last newsletters, we have Mr. Bennet Hargenlocher from Germany who is this year working alongside us advancing his knowledge and practical experience in the ministry, while also doing his Masters in Theology. Bennet - we welcome you to our L.E.I team for 2007.

Cullinin

We traveled out and had a great time ministering in the township area of Cullinin again. God once again moved really powerfully as Des preached the word.

We had new salvations happen, and prayers of blessing over each of the Sunday school children as they went out to class.

This church is really growing and moving forward, it has moved from a shanty - now to a larger sized tent with a concrete floor, and proper toilet facilities. They have also put a fence around the whole property.

The Pastor and his team are really encouraging the people that they can do it themselves, and not to look to hand-outs from other people. They paid for all this themselves!

We want to thank at this time Mondeor Primary School in Johannesburg for their generous donation to our L.E.I AIDS Trust by giving the sewing project there in Cullinin 6 various sewing machines (both hand held and electrical).

Our L.E.I AIDS Trust wants to try and help this church and this community of Cullinin as it has one of the highest unemployment and HIV/AIDS statistics in the whole of Tswane area.

If anyone wants to give a donation towards job employment and community upliftment, we want to buy a few industrial sewing machines in order for the women there to get a regular income and contracts. (as the Pastor's wife is a trained and qualified dress designer).

For donation, please send see the bottom of this newsletter.  Thank you!

Soshenguve

We went up to a church in a more rural setting in the top part of the big Soshenguve township north of Pretoria.

This church we visited had a basic brick structure, but no windows or doors, a tin roof and a dirt floor.

We had a great time there and enjoyed being with the church that day.

Bennet spoke for approx 15 minutes, and then Des spoke the word of God after him. We also had some miracles happen in this church that morning:

Eg: one woman was healed of deafness,

Another woman had excruciating pain leave her hips, and 5 girls received salvation.

We also gave out new bibles for all the youth that did not own their own. Everyone was really excited to receive their gift.

Many thanks to our sponsors who donated financially so that these youth could now read the word of God and get closer in relationship to him.

                                                  WE ASK FOR YOUR DONATIONS

Zimbabwe,          (Ezekiel 37)

As I (Ros) wrote this following song, I was actually sitting last year in a Pastors conference in a little Pentecostal church in the middle of Chegutu, Zimbabwe, on a streaming HOT summers day, and was suddenly inspired by the Lord to write down my thoughts as the Int. speaker (Des) was preaching to all the regional Pastors.

Friends - This song I give to you from the "dried bones" of Zimbabwe. I hope you enjoy!            (Ezekiel 37)

NOTE -  Please remember to pray for the Pastors in Zimbabwe!!

Yesterday, Today and Forever!!

When we needed a word

  you have spoken

When we needed to repent

  you forgave

When we needed a way

  you showed us where

From the desert to the Promised Land

For you are an all consuming fire

A spring of life where all else fails

For we have seen your glory

And the power of your love

Chorus/

Yesterday, today and forever

We exult your name Ohh God

Be praised and adored

Be worshipped forever more

As surely as the Lord lives

We shall praise your Holy name

Through your grace -

   we are who we are

Through your love -

     we do what we do

Through your spirit  -

we are consumed with your fire

Through your blood

we are washed whiter than snow

Kimberly

Des and Bennet headed down to Kimberly for ministry during March. They went and did street "one on one" evangelism and had many salvations off the street alone. They also headed off to the local hospital and prayed for many people there, many of which were healed under the power of the name of Jesus!

Des spoke at a night set up for the leadership of the church addressing leadership and church politics issues, whilst Bennet went and spoke to the youth group, and also spent time helping mentor the youth leader.

The other nights they were there, they both spoke at church revival meetings.

They both came back after their journey very tired, but much fulfilled in what God had accomplished through them!

NEW:     Bennet's Corner:

Kimberly, the city of diamonds, was our home for a short period. Days full of ministering, equipping mentoring and outreach. We went into hospitals, open fields and streets. More than 50 people got saved and many other miracles happened. For example, one woman who got saved was healed from cataracts over her eye. PTL

Many people in the hospital gave their hearts to Jesus that day!. We also ministered to a lot of nurses and encouraged them in their work. We had a very successful time in both the hospital and the church there in Kimberly.

Des did teaching and helping the leadership and elders while I, Bennet did teaching input to the worship-team and the youth. Des was challenging and encouraging the leadership with the word of God.

The Holy Spirit brought new revelations to the church leaders. Backsliders came back to Christ and new souls were won!! This church has now reached a new level and on a good the way to be an even greater place for the Lord.

Bennet

We appeal to all ladies -  please consider knitting/crocheting babies booties, socks and hats for the upcoming winter for sick HIV/AIDS positive babies of South Africa, and sending them to our postal address. Thanks!
