Hi everyone,

Well, we are so far having a great year with many interesting and different things happening that we didn't anticipate at the beginning of the year. Our God is good and faithful!!

  Amen!

Booties and Hats Hospital Drop:

I want to share more with you about what God is doing here through our knitting project for destitute babies etc....

As you know, L.E.I AIDS Trust started a new project over here in South Africa to get local women to knit for the trust, and then donate us their items of baby's hats and booties (some ladies decided they wanted to even knit dresses, soft teddy bears, blankets and Jerseys etc).  I've had such a fantastic response overall from the public with so much coming to us already - it's been hard to keep a handle on organizing everything for the evangelism side of the ministry.

The Trust's aim is to knit the two together in order to make this a form of one on one evangelism, by putting the booties etc in a small plastic bag with our information in, and then a gospel booklet as well and hand them all out personally by our team. (as well as pray and minister to the ladies individually)

Well, we had our first drop this last month in a local state hospital where most of the women that were there in the maternity ward had absolutely nothing.  (Only 1 mother we visited had her own nightly - no one else had anything)

They all had to be dressed in state cotton hospital garments because of this fact.
I even saw some mothers have to dress their boys up in little girls clothing - as they had nothing.  It was a real humbling experience and really makes us thank God for what he truly has given to us!

The top matron even allowed us to pray for all the mothers and nurses individually.
One mother while we were there had just given birth but had lost her child, and was in desperate need of upliftment and prayer, so she was greatly encouraged by our visit to her!

All the women were very grateful for their gifts, and also for the prayer and ministry they received from us.

NELSTROOM - Holy Spirit Conference

We had a great time up in Nelstroom again as main guest speakers of their Holy Spirit Conference. We had three nights straight of God moving so powerfully in each of the meetings. We were blessed to have people travel from as far way as Harrismith, Jo-burg, Pretoria, Elisras and many other places for the conference.

One thing that stood out for me about this particular conference was the people's heart and love for worship - which then opened the door for a greater move of God as they had their eyes set on him and not on man. They allowed the teenagers and children to come and dance up the front of the church at all the meetings during praise and worship, and it really made me stop and see how much we as adults forget to allow room for them as children to worship God in their own way to their own understanding. There was an amazing amount of JOY in the house of God those nights there in Nelstroom with praise that I believe went up as a pure and pleasing aroma unto God!

Bennet played his guitar in the band, and also taught the congregation a new praise song from Germany! There were many accurate words of Knowledge spoken over different members lives and much imparting of the Holy Spirit. Also many healings that took place and testimonies of people that can now speak in tongues for the first time.        Glory to God!

               FIELD OF GRACE!          (song)

As I lay in a field of sunflowers

With thousands all around

I feel your love around me

As the breeze makes a soft sound

Your color,   your beauty

Your majesty, your strength

Like a sunflower may I always turn

And focus on your grace!

Chorus

Shine on me, mighty son of God

Shine on me

Rain on me, Blow on me

Pollinate my deepest soul

May I lay bare before you

With nothing left to hide

May I always long to be in our secret place

As I feel your love around me

When I lay in your field of grace!

As the sun shines brightly from above

May I shine as I look to you

Bold, extravagant and beautiful

Filled with what is "true"

So peaceful  -  so refined

So faithful to the end

For your love endures forever

Jesus   -   my GOD send!

YOUTH MINISTRY

We had the opportunity of being involved in the first outreach camp for the J.A.M (Jesus and me) Revolutionaries based in Nelstroom run by Pastors Jan Buys and Chris Camera.

We were the visiting speakers there this weekend. This whole camp and operation is aimed at local teenagers in order to impart into them God's morals and spirit, and help rise up a new generation of Christians.

Des came really dressed for the part, ready to fit in and join with the youth by wearing all the gear as he spoke and encouraged them to rise up in God and know who they are, and not to come under the standards of this world, but rather stand up for what they believe in!!

The teens were greatly challenged and motivated at this camp, learning team ministry, discipline, responsibility and caring for one another. It was a very successful camp, and with the huge God given vision that has been given to the Pastors - we believe this will grow huge in a very short space of time as the youth of today are looking for strong leadership and something to believe in, and as for having future camps - we believe this was the first of many!!

Clothing Distribution:

We have been trying to hand out a lot of free  2nd hand clothing over this past month as the winter here in South Africa is now upon us. It has been very cold so far, and we didn't want to waste any time in handing out warm clothing to those who are destitute living in either homeless shelters, shanties or in the park with no roof over their head.

While handing out clothes, we have also been handing out EHCSA booklets and sharing with people about Jesus Christ. We also handed out 2nd hand babies clothes to help those women who have nothing for their newborn babies.

If you would like to help us by buying a blanket for R26.00 ($US 4.00)  to help the homeless, please just email us on so we can send you further information.

Prayer Needs:

  • ¨ People to help sponsor regular financial support
  • ¨ Upcoming CRUSADES in June in Elisras
  • ¨ Favor with the chief, religious leaders and Government in Elim in the Northern Province, so we can go ahead with a crusade up in that rural region.
  • ¨ Needing volunteers to come across to South Africa and work with us, as all the ministry demands on us are very heavy. We need your help!!

God bless you all
