Hundreds of people received salvation over the crusade period!!

This 7 year old boy was completly blind since birth - now he can see of the 1^st time!

This man in the photo to the left was completely paralyzed and in a wheelchair for many years. After the prayer was given out over the crowd, he felt he could suddenly feel his legs.  He wiggled them around for a while and then began to get out of his wheelchair very determined to walk! He then started walking around the grounds without any help or assistance from the people around him. After a while some people helped him to a car to get some rest. It was here that I took his photo. We heard a report about this man as we packed up to leave Botswana after the crusade. This man has since been walking all over the town every day sharing a testimony of how much Jesus has healed him!!      Praise the Lord !

We had an interesting event happen in the stadium while we were there. Apparently this twister appeared and picked up the large side tent that was standing right across from our sound tower, lights, 18 speakers and truck.  At that time the chairman of the EFB was there in the stadium, and so he and another Pastor prayed when they saw the tent being lifted and coming towards our equipment. Suddenly as he prayed "in the name of Jesus" the twister suddenly dropped the tent only a very small distance away from our stuff and only managed to damage one of our lights.......nothing else. Praise God!

We (LEI) had a great time up there in Selebi Pikwe. Our team all went camping in tents! It was really hot. 35 - 38 degrees on an average. We were invaded by ants, and had our own personal frog choir, but had a great time together!  We had 2 Pastors also join our team. Both of them came from Ellisras.

One of the great things that happened there was a guy who was standing amongst the crowd at the crusade, and had been going to different Sangormas for over 12 years in order to try and fix his heart condition. They all told him he had to wear muti and it will fix his condition....but he just got worse. He came to the crusade,  and as he reached out to God when Des said the prayer for healing, he felt a power go through his body. He went up on the stage to testify that he is now healed from heart trouble, and told Des that he will never go to a Sangorma again as they are  false prophets! He actually asked Des if he could please take off the muti - which he then proceeded to do in front of the whole crowd.   (remember that muti is part of witchcraft, and that the Sangormas tell the people that they will come under a curse if they stop believing in it and want to take it off,   Where -as, in actual fact it is putting a curse on the person that does wear and believe it). The whole crowd roared with excitement as he took it off, knowing what this meant! He gave his life to Jesus on stage and said the sinners prayer in front of everyone!

Then there was a man that had huge lumps all over his throat and neck, and could not move his neck around from one side to the other. He also came on the stage to testify that he could now move his neck right around, and that all the lumps had all disappeared.

Then an old man that had suffered terribly from a stroke and could hardly walk. He had to use a stick and move VERY slowly. He came up on the stage and gave testimony that God had healed him in his arms and that he now had no pain, but could freely move his arms around.

Another testimony, was a young guy in his 30's  testified that he had bad skin allergies and much pain in the groin for a long time, and that both had now disappeared from his body and was now in no more pain and itchiness.

This woman had been in a wheelchair for many years, and first came to South Africa to get prayer for healing. Then for a short period of time was able to walk with a stick - but deteriorated back with much agonizing pain and in a worse position than before! After coming to the crusade, when the prayer for healing went out; she dropped her stick and walked around with no pain whatsoever.

This woman in the photo below had very bad back trouble for many years and finally the Doctors had to operate on her. However she could not bend her back at all or touch her knees because of the agonizing pain. Once again - after the prayer for healing went out at the crusade, she was healed and testified on stage that she could touch her toes without any pain.

This woman had cancer lumps right throughout her body, but when Des prayed into the crowd against cancer, the lumps left her. She can now move her arms around freely again with no pain.

 We thank the Lord for all that happened in Selebi Pikwe, and for his mighty way in which he revealed himself to the people. We also thank the Lord for all healings and miracles that took place while we were there, and we give him all the Glory!

WE GIVE HIM ALL THE GLORY -

 ...... for he alone is GOD!
