HE KEEPS ON DOING GREAT THINGS!!!!
Nylstroom/ Mass Gospel Crusade:
Fantastic Crusade. PTL – for all the souls won for the Lord! Again, I hope we can show you through our photos and story of what took place there up in Nylstroom. (1 ½ hrs north of Pretoria) This time we had the crusade in the local sports stadium inside the township area of Nylstroom. All the local Pastors really took ownership of this crusade, which then helped with strengthening between Pastors of various denominations in the body of Christ as they all worked together towards a United Kingdom concept. On our team for this Nylstroom Crusade we had some new team members – Pierre, Sonny boy, Hendrick, Dawid, Hein, Lise, and our faithful men of God from Vaalwater, Simon and Daniel.
We were very blessed this past month to be able to buy a T.V broadcasting camera in order to take good coverage of the crusades and conferences we are involved with. Hopefully in the next few months we will be able to start to sell DVD’s of our sermons, conferences and mass gospel crusades etc to the public. (If interested in receiving L.E.I DVD’s please write to us on:
) anyway – back to the crusade…….
Testimony - On the first night, after the alter call had been given and people had gone forward and received salvation, we had a time of healing . This woman came forward and testified of God healing her from a stroke. She lifted up her hands around freely for all to see just how much God had touched and healed her!
Testimony - We had had at least 4 people come up to Des when he popped into a café for coffee one morning saying that they were sleeping last night, when a bright light suddenly appeared to them in a vision and was speaking to them audibly stating that they must come to the crusade. These people did not go at all to church, and so were asking Des what this meant?? Des told them that God wanted to get their attention and wanted to speak and minister to them, so come to the crusade this coming night and you will receive from God!
Testimony - One Afrikaans woman was also in the café when Des was there, and testified and said that she also came to the crusade one night, after suffering for 12 years with much pain constantly in her body. She said that she went forward in the call for healing, and told us that when she woke up the next morning after the crusade, she had no pain at all in her body – after 12 long years - she believes she is now healed of God!
Praise be to his name!
Testimony - This woman in the photo to the left was lying on the stage as she earlier came forward to testify that God had healed her of much pain and problems in her body and womb because of cancer lumps. Before even a call of healing was given, Des mentioned from the stage that there was a woman in the crowd that had been brought to the crusade and could hardly move, and that God was touching her right now, and healing her of problems, pain and lumps in her body and womb. This woman said she felt something happen to her in her body and so came forward to testify that she believed it was her - as she had cancer in her body, and that she now believes that God had healed her. She then fell under the power of the Holy Spirit right there on the stage, and God touched her so greatly that she just lay there for a time crying and wailing!
Testimony - This woman in the photo to the right came up on the stage and testified of her back being healed of pinched nerves and much pain!
Testimony - There was a man that we saw at the end of the crusade at a petrol station that testified for us that he use to be deformed, his back was bent over and that he could barely walk. He had some other men with him that testified that this was all true and that they knew him. He said to Des – you don’t understand what happened to me as I came to your crusade and stood there in the crowd....... He said that he spent much money going to the Sangorma for many years, but nothing changed his deformity. He testified that he came to the crusade and God touched him in the crowd and healed him then and there as Des spoke on the subject of: the mighty blood of Jesus! He said his back straightened out as he agreed with Des in the crowd about the local Sangormas, and decided enough is enough from them taking his money and nothing happening and that they were full of witchcraft. He asked Jesus for forgiveness for his sin in going to them, and in the crowd then called upon the name of Jesus – and all of a sudden one short leg grew right in front of him, and his deformed hips came back into line, and back straightened up. We saw him pumping up a bike tire with the other men saying that he feels strong now that God has healed him. The men all had tears in their eyes as they shared that they were about to teach this man how to ride a bicycle as he never was able to ride one in the past – but now he can, and that they were about to teach him. PTL
..….. Some of the guys on our team were so happy after the final night of the crusade they wanted to dance on stage, and so we put on some of our African crusade music on the outdoor speakers for a while and let them “go for it”. They had a great time dancing, praising the lord and rejoicing in their own style.
This crusade in Nylstroom was much more than just another crusade. It was hard one to do, as we had quite a bit of opposition in various ways, but there ended up being much that was addressed in the spiritual realm over the town and surrounding region, with many different spiritual powers and principalities being broken over the area and the people.
The Pastors there were all very excited and told us that this was the biggest Christian gathering and greatest amount of new souls they have ever had in the entire history of Nylstroom.
At this point we want to thank everyone on our team for their great sacrifice, effort, unity and teamwork done on this crusade.
Thanks mighty men of God....
We love all you guys so much!
Praise the Lord for his goodness, and for all the new souls won for Jesus in Nylstroom!
State Hospital Outreach: We went through and had another hospital visitation where we dropped off another load of precious booties to new mothers that were really excited and grateful to receive. We also gave them once again each a booklet (as seen below) on The way to God. These mothers have nothing for their babies, (as seen in the photo, having to use a bath towel instead of a blanket to wrap the child in) and so these mothers were really pleased to receive our gifts, most of which then allowed us to pray for them and their babies. We also prayed for 4 babies about to be adopted.
Feeding Park People: Remember we told you that we have been helping to feed the homeless people that live outside in the park – thanks to Woolworths supermarket. Well, we were able to do it again, and also preach the word to them. We also had some more new salvations! Anne, who was here on a short term missions trip from Asia for a short time, preached to them before the food was given out, and then the sick were prayed for.
Many thanks to Woolworths supermarket for all their help in the local community!
Jo-burg Prison Outreach: This month we were involved in another prison outreach – this time for all those who were behind bars, still awaiting trial. Apparently there are still approx 6000 guys waiting in this one prison to be trialed before they even know what their sentence will be, or if they walk away free! One guy we spoke to had been waiting for 9# months already to have his case heard! Des spoke the word to all the guys and at the end gave an alter call. We had 100 new salvations that day won for the Lord! PTL It was really ripe for harvesting! All guys present that day were very challenged with the word, and repented before God for their previous criminal actions.
Goodbye to Bennet: Bennet left early this month and headed back to Germany, his homeland. L.E.I thanks him for all his hard work and help that he gave to the ministry over his time of 5 ½ months working with us full time.
Please Pray For: - Upcoming crusades in both Soshenguve and Witbank - Financial provision for L.E.I - Permanent volunteer workers to join L.E.I - Finance provided to build cases for all our outdoor speakers, to help with their protection from the elements
