 Vaalwater trip update:
I’d like to share a little bit further with you of what God did while we were up in Vaalwater last month organizing crusades for 2008……..
We were invited to speak in a church (actually in a large tent) one Sunday morning.
After the singing and worship time, Des was on first with the word, and then after there was going to be a celebration time, as one young couple from the church got officially engaged in front of the whole church congregation in an African style.

Well – for the word, Des felt lead to speak on the topic of ancestral worship, and little did we know that in this meeting there were seated many “Pastors and Prophets” from the girl’s side of the family that were VERY high up in the African cult ZCC, and other sects that were also there at this meeting to be with the family in their celebration.

(We found out that the girl’s parents were tied up and part of the ZCC movement)

WOW – you could have heard a pin drop at times, and other times it was echoing very loud with amen’s etc.  Des gave an alter call at the end of his message, of which several people came forward to receive Jesus.

(As Des gave the alter call,  3 top ZCC men then stood up and walked out of the meeting to discuss the word that Des brought, as it was so contrary to their doctrine of belief)

They came back into the meeting when Des had finished. The head “Prophet” of the waterburg region then shook Des ‘s hand at the end of the meeting and said it was a very interesting and
challenging word ……coming from a white man, and that it really had made them all think, as maybe they could be wrong in their thinking and teaching…..  so much so that they will need to get together again to talk about it further.

Des’s word was very strong and powerful, straight facts on the blood of Jesus and him alone being our ancestor that we pray to.
The word came sharper than any two edged sword!! It really pierced through the demonic realm in a big way that morning.
ALL Pastors were very challenged that day, as was the rest of the congregation that was made up of different various church members, sects and cult people.

The other pastors there at the meeting were also congratulating Des after the meeting saying that this was the best message on ancestral worship they have ever heard in their whole life, and the fact that it came from a white man, as if he knew all the issues of controversy in this whole subject that only Africans can understand.

Praise the Lord for his faithfulness!!
