Hi everyone, Another great and successful month gone by with deffinatly no regrets!
Johannesburg prison ministry: We headed down to Johannesburg men’s maximum security prison again for some more ministry to the inmates there. They all received us with open arms, and were all very receptive to the word once again. They were also very open to words of correction when Des brought the word to them. There were many new faces there and we had many new salvations at our meeting, so the 3000 booklets we deposited in the prison that day on “the way to God” from EHCSA went down very well. They literally all ran to the table to snatch up as many as they could to take back to their other fellow inmates that couldn’t make it to our meeting. We had booklets there in 5 different languages. Many of them wanted to stay behind after the meeting was over in order to shake our hand and ask for individual prayer and further ministry!
Upcoming Crusades: This year we have organized more outdoor and tent evangelistic crusades in various areas of the country. Please pray with us that they will all run smoothly (as it takes a lot of organizing to put them together) and that we will have a good response from the public with many new souls won for the kingdom of God. Our first outdoor one for the season will be from: 8th – 11th May 2008 north in Vaalwater. We will be having quite a few Pastors joining us from different areas of the country to be part of our team, a Christian Artist from Johannesburg named Gunther will be there singing, and also a T.V producer will be there for several nights doing filming for us. We will also be having with us a team of people from New Zealand there on a short term mission trip joining as part of the team. So please pray for us all that the crusade will run smooth and effectively. Thanks!
A.B.K Project: L.E.I Trust had a major success last year with our Trust project ABK: African Babies Knitting project. This project was initially set up in order to help destitute and premature newborn babies here in Africa, and is really moving forward and progressing very fast!! These photos below show jerseys, clothing, booties and hats for both babies and small children that have been knitted and donated to L.E.I Trust for distribution.
We package all our items up with a small booklet in the back of each on “How to find God” (sponsored by EHCSA) and our address information on the front.
We were very blessed by the fact that we had ladies continue to knit for us right over the summer period, with parcels coming in from both New Zealand and Singapore as well as from all our South African ladies.
(The warm clothing in the photo above was knitted by a special lady in Singapore for a very small premature boy still in hospital).
This year we also have a new special lady on board with us as a new knitting ABK coordinator who will manage all that comes through from the USA to Africa. Cindy – thankyou for your availability in reaching out to meet the needs of many destitute babies and mothers here in Africa!
Salvations so far: This year at L.E.I for this first quarter of the year, we have had so far the total of - 11606 -new salvations for Jesus! All praise be to HIS name!
It says in the bible: Mathew 9:37 The harvest is plentiful - but the workers are few! (NIV)
There is a huge harvest field out there just waiting to be tapped, and God is calling each one of us to play a part in the harvesting of HIS field. There is so many desperate people out there in this world wanting to hear – but have never heard!! (Romans 10:14 & 15)

We should all ask ourselves – we, as followers of Jesus Christ – what can we do to help and play a part? Where do we fit in? Where does God want us? What does he want from us? So - seek him my friends, find out from God what he wants you to do! Remember that Jesus came to seek and save that which was lost!!
Feeding program: I want to show you randomly some more photos of when we went up to the northern province and handed out 2nd hand clothing while placed at a feeding scheme that is running up there.
Please help our L.E.I Trust fund financially so we can help these local children on a regular basis. Thank you!
