Hi again everyone,

Welcome to the latest news on Int. Evangelists Des and Ros Sinclair. (based in South Africa)

Ministry

Over this past year, Dr’s Des and Ros Sinclair have been continuing to do much ministry around the country of South Africa.
We have since our last newsletter been to Leeudoringstad, Vryheid, Pretoria, Brits, Hartbeespoort dam, Johannesburg, Meyerton, Klerksdorp and Fochville to name a few.

We also went to an old age home south of Meyerton. In the photo below you can see some of our church people giving a package to the lady of the house who over sighted and took care of 65 patients.

The majority of the people in this home were either stroke victims, bed ridden, or had HIV/AIDS and were rejected by their families and made homeless, or were mentally disturbed.
Our church (FREE LIFE CHURCH)  gave each of the old people a package of their own which included each of the following:

  • Toothbrush
  • Toothpaste
  • Soap
  • Facecloth
  • Vaseline jel
  • Aqua’s cream
  • Hand lotion
  • Powder
  • Sweeties

All the old people hung on to their parcels for dear life, and were very blessed that we came to visit and thought of them, bringing them also gifts and praying for them.

This home is made simply of a simple dilapidated warehouse, split right down the middle to have beds on one side, living area on the other. The patients asked that next time we come, can we please bring them gifts of oranges, bananas, cookies and apples.

ABK Knitting Project:Image
Our knitting project is still progressing very well, and we are enjoying incredible success from ladies wanting to help from various countries in knitting for babies in Africa that are destitute and in need of clothing and accessories etc.
(Many babies go home from the hospital wearing no clothing except a towel or newspaper wrapped around them, as the mother waits to see if the baby will survive before spending money or buying them any clothing)

We have had over the past few months many very devoted knitters send us box after box of brand new accessories and clothing for new born babies. We are very blessed to have such commitment from our ladies and thank them very much for their compassion towards Africa.

: For those wanting to contribute 2nd hand soft toys, booties, hats, jerseys or baby

clothing for this project, please send them to the following address:

AMAZING - Book Testimony:

Life on the line – By Al Gibson

One guy in Johannesburg South Africa who brought our book, rung us on the phone after he read it and told us the following:
He had huge tumors in his brain from cancer and was in a great deal of pain from headaches etc because of the pressure etc.He couldnt see very well either because of the tumor.

As he tried to read the book (life on the line, by Al Gibson) one night, he slowly fell asleep in his armchair. The book then fell down onto his face.
When he awoke – he knew something had changed, as he felt really good - & no pain. He could see clearly and also felt a warm presence around him.
He went to the doctors and did tests – of which after a period of time the doctors came back to him saying that the lumps had disappeared and were no more, and that his body was free from cancer…..
TO THE GLORY OF GOD ALMIGHTY!

Prison Ministry
Again – we had a wonderful time being involved in prison ministry. We took our church team to Mondeor max security prison A section – for men in Johannesburg, South Africa that are still awaiting trial.
Our team always has a great time when they go in to share with the men, and never go out again feeling disappointed.

This time the men there were really hungry to hear the word of God. You could see each of them really hanging onto every word that was spoken and deeply devouring every sentence. Many stood up in front of other inmates and committed their life to Christ  saying the sinners prayer, after which our team gave out to each of the new converts a new bible each. These bibles were donated by both a local business, and also from some of our church members.
That day we also gave out booklets to each of the men there on “how to find God”.
The total amount of booklets we gave out while we were there that day was 2700 booklets.
If YOU too are interested in prison ministry but can’t make it there yourself…..
please – we always need more bibles!

Please help support us in LIFE EVANGELISM INTERNATIONAL  by placing a donation in our LEI Trust account, which is set aside for both Humanitarian aid and evangelism into Africa.

(We also have visa payment set up on this page)

Thank you for your consideration!
