Prov 25:15 "By long forbearance a ruler is persuaded, And a gentle tongue breaks a bone." NKJV

Tell that to the protestors.  It appears that the gentle manner is the one that will win through.  But today it is protest and violence to achieve your end. Sadly it doesn't.  The bone here refers to resistance.  It is broken by persistence and gentleness.  God's word works.

So be encouraged by this Proverb to hang in there and make your point of view in a gentle manner.

Think about that in your daily life.  Those who rule over your airline ticket or your boss. Try a gentle approach instead and see what happens.  I remember not being allowed to carry luggage in Fiji because it weighed too much.  I needed it and so I left it with the woman and asked her to add it to a passenger travelling light. I was just gently persistent and she took it and I never saw her again. My extra bag went through.

Blessings
