Most of us have learned Jer 33:3 as a memory verse at some time. I saw it done really well as a telephone. As it happened it was my devotional reading yesterday and I saw a simple truth there.
Jeremiah was actually being help captive at the time. You would think the communication from God would be, "Pray to me and I will deliver you". Instead God says: Jer 33:3 "Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand)." AMP
There have been so many times in my life where I have wanted God to deliver me, but what he wanted to do was show me something. A classroom is more comfortable than a prison, but what God wants to show us, He shows us His way. Ps 25:12 "Who is the man that fears the LORD? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses." NKJV
So think on your situation. Maybe you should call out to Him and let Him show what you don't know. Great and mighty things.
Lord I know as I write this that it is a word in season for some. All of us that read it agree together for those in a situation today that you will answer them and shoe them what You want to tell them in Jesus name Amen.
