Dan 1:8-9 "But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. Now God had brought Daniel into the favour and goodwill of the chief of the eunuchs." NKJV

When we purpose to please God, He will give us favour.

It has been my experience that when we purpose to do the right thing we see God open the way for us.

I so appreciate Daniel. He does not try to influence anyone else. He just does the right thing. That is my prayer for you and me. That we might do the right thing and see God show us favour.
