Hi, This morning in my devotions I was reading Daniel 6.  Two verses spoke to me particularly. Daniel had been thrown into the lions den and the king having tried to save him had fasted all night and prayed for him. In the morning early he comes to see Daniel.

"Then Daniel said to the King, "O king, live forever! My God sent His angel and shut the mouth of the lions, so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him; and also, O king, I have done no wrong before you." Now the king was exceedingly glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den.  So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no injury whatever was found on him, "because he believed in his God".

We like the king try to do all in our own strength to deliver ourselves from trouble.  In fact there is only 2 things we need to do.

1. We need be found innocent.
2. We need to believe God.

In your situation make sure you are innocent. If not confess and put it right. Then trust God. He will send His angels to shut the mouth of the enemy. He will not consume you and you will be brought up out of the pit.

Blessings
