This morning I want to share four "P's" from John 6. A well know passage where Jesus feeds 5000+.
Plan: John 6:6 "But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do. He knows the plans that He has for us. For good and not for evil."
Jesus knew what He was going to do and asked the disciple the question to test him. I think I have been there.
Preparation: Jesus had the disciples sit the people in groups on the grass. He got things ready for the miracle. We often want our miracle but have we got everything in order?
Provision: Jesus breaks the bread and gives it to the disciples and they give it to the people and everyone has plenty. God gives pressed down, shaken together and running out all over. A simple meal but everyone had all they could eat.
Preservation: Jesus had them gather up what was left over. He does not like waste. Be sure you don't waste your miracle when you get it. I see many people do not preserve it and it is wasted. Maintain your miracle with thanks and giving testimony and glory to God.
