Psalms 50:20-21 "You sit and speak against your brother; You slander your own mother's son. These things you have done, and I kept silent; You thought that I was altogether like you; But I will rebuke you, And set them in order before your eyes." NKJV
The actions of the people were governed by their concept of God. They thought God was altogether like them. Not so. The sons of Korah thought they were holy when they lined themselves up against Moses, before they were swallowed up by the earth. They thought they were holy. They were men of renown the Bible says. The Scriptures say 250 of them.
God is not altogether like you or me. Yet I am certain that we all think God is on our side in any dispute with another Christian. We do think He is like us.
It is my aim this year to become more like Him. We all need to turn at His rebuke.
Lord bless each one
