Hi everyone,
First of all - we thank God for all he has done for us!
We shifted house at the end of July and the Lord truly blessed us with a lovely 3 bedroomed house with a garage. We are now currently living in Midrand. (Between Johannesburg and Pretoria).

REVIVAL Testimony:
We went up to minister to a church in the big Soshenguve Township in the beginning of August. The Holy Spirit was moving amongst the people very strongly as Des was preaching.
In the middle of Des’s message, this crippled man came pulling his way into the church and right up the front of the pulpit by wheeling himself in on a little bit of wood with wheels. He had been crippled since birth. Des seeing this man come in and come right up the front starring at him, then stopped his sermon and prayed for him, “ in the name of Jesus Christ, be healed ..… stand and walk”, and then carried on in his message. After Des prayed, there came a strange sudden rush of wind that blew strongly inside the church for a few minutes while this man stayed up the front continuing to stare, just stare. Then all of a sudden the crippled man suddenly stood up from his trolley, straightened out his legs and with much excitement and hysteria he shouted to everyone in the church that he had seen and been touched by Jesus. He then literally RAN outside the church building and into the street shouting at the top of his lungs that Jesus had healed him!! Des shouted to him – “come back” as he was running out of the church onto the street……..but the man was gone! (In this area of the township it is extremely highly populated, and the people in this area knew this man very well). This ex-crippled man then ran from door to door to door in the neighborhood telling everyone how Jesus had touched him, that he was now healed and that Jesus was NOW in the church. Masses of people came running from all directions, running out of their homes etc and gathered outside the church pushing their way to get in, asking for both healing, and what must they do to get right with God?? As all the church members experienced the power of God and felt his mighty presence that day, they too then went into mass weeping, praising, worshiping and also falling down on their faces, getting right with God and thus experienced what is called…. true REVIVAL!! Up to 2 thousand people were saved that day!

ALL PRAISE BE TO GOD ALMIGHTY!

Valwater Crusade:
On our last crusade trip up to Valwater we did an open air crusade on a game farm which went really well.  Most of the African game farm workers have never heard the true gospel before. The white farm owners believe in Valwater that the Africans do not even have a soul.
(Really racist “right wingers”!!)
The farmers didn't even want their workers to come to the crusade and told their workers that if they came - then they would be in jeopardy of loosing their jobs!
We confronted the farmers about this in church, and the head farmer for the Valwater area stood up (him also an elder in the church) and said that they couldn't allow the workers to worship they same God that they do, or else it would mean the workers would know their true rights in life biblically and could cause them to have less control on their workers. They told us that "they don't deserve to be able to worship our God". Even the white missionaries in this area refused to come along and help with the meeting, saying that they were only called to the Afrikaans people only and not the blacks!
Anyway - for those that were so hungry for God and did venture out and come to the meeting, There was a great expectation and excitement in the air that night. The lord moved really powerfully and we had a really high conversion rate. All praise be to GOD almighty!!
The Lord opened deaf ears, deformed legs were straightened, many with demonic headaches were healed and people set free from demonic fear over their lives. We even had a lot of men and women from the cult Z.C.C come along to the crusade. (Zionist Christian Church)valwater.jpg
After the meeting some of the men came forward and with tears in their eyes they took off and laid down their star badges that they all wear and said "we don't need this anymore". (That night Des preached on "the precious blood of Jesus") The men said to us "now we understand what Jesus has truly done for us, that he became the ultimate sacrifice and we don't need to keep making sacrifices in order to appease God's anger upon us".    PRAISE THE LORD!!

THOUGHT:
Weakness is wanting to control everything around you. Strength is gracefully accepting and valuing what is!

Apart from running around ministering in all the different churches in many cities we have been to this year, we have also been very busy with Crusades, Businesses, Camps and Pastors Conferences this year.  As the year progressed we had to make a few changes to fit everyone in. We have so far had Crusades in the following areas:

Roepersfontein in Kriel:
We had a great time back in Kriel with the President of Roepersfontein Ministries, P’s Nico Coetzer in his local assembly.
There was an open heaven over this congregation and the spirit of the Lord soverenly moved through the gifts of prophecy, words of knowledge and healing.
This service was more of an encouragement for the body of Christ of where they are at – and where they are going.
Des preached a prophetic message on where the movement is heading, and the influence that God has given them in South Africa as a movement. The people responded very positively to the message. There was a strong sense within the congregation that they would to move out and apply this message in their lives.

In the photo below with Des and this young lady, the Holy Spirit lead Des to her, sitting in the back of the congregation and spoke to her directly of where she is at with God, that she needed to repent and give her life to Jesus. This young lady cried and gave her heart to the Lord that morning for the first time.
