Hi everyone,

Well people, this year is rolling on fast, and we thank the Lord for all he has done and provided for us. All praise be to his wonderful name!

National Police Conference:
We joined hands with the Christian Police Association of South Africa and were one of the guest speakers at their annual conference which took place town in Barkley West. We all had a great time together over 3 days and God did some amazing things while we were there with the Police. The theme of the conference was “THE GREAT AWAKENING” - which is exactly what happened that weekend. God really moved through the police and their spirit man was re-awakened and full with fresh fire. We all went on the buses on a practical outreach on the Saturday to different police stations in the Barkley/Kimberly area. We prayed for all the police and even went down into all the cells and prayed for all the convicts. Everyone in the cells admitted that they needed Jesus and ALL put their hands up to receive Salvation into their lives. The police then prayed over each one of them individually. By them praying for the convicts - It did something in the hearts of the police and really broke down the walls spiritually. Praise God – there was so much excitement when we got back to the camp. The police realized that they themselves could do so much more than they first considered was just their job. They caught in the spirit that this was also part of their ministry and they themselves had power and authority through Jesus Christ over the powers of evil. I believe that the conference gave them new strength as individual Christians, and that they went back home on the Sunday to their police stations knowing that they are indeed – more than conquerors through Jesus Christ!

Ministry in Kimberly:
We went back down to Kimberly, and ministered down there in a particular church.
The trip went very well.   We had fantastic things happen there that only the Holy Spirit can fully know or explain. We ministered there over a 4/ day period of ministry. Many times the people were up the front of the alter sorting themselves out and getting right with God. Also receiving ministry from the Holy Spirit and words of knowledge. We had a great time there with the people and experienced their wonderful hospitality once again. PRAISE GOD!

Thought:
Failure is thinking that you can advance yourself by pushing other people down.
Success is understanding that the more you lift others up, the more you will be lifted up yourself!

Testimony:
August 2002
Indian GURU walks again         

I was going over some of our older testimonies, and came across this one that happened in Durban –South Africa in the year 2002…….enjoy!
A few nights later in another area of Durban city we were doing another 7 day crusade in a strong Indian area, and experienced a very strong devout Hindu guru priestess come to one of the meetings while being seated in a wheelchair.
Des was speaking that night about EXODUS   “having no other idols”.
 As she went forward to receive salvation, Des went down to talk to her…..
He said – mam, do you really understand what I am saying about having no other idols, that Jesus Christ is the son of God, and that he is the one and only true God. She said to Des “young man, I have heard the gospel many times. I have even had great men of God in the Christian circle come and talk to me, even pray for me, but tonight as you were speaking I felt something spiritual fall from my eyes, and that I could clearly see the truth of the Gospel for the first time, and that Jesus Christ was truly the son of God!”
After saying the sinner’s prayer of salvation, she then had prayer for healing and was anointed with oil, and Des then told her... ” now walk out of your wheelchair”!!
This woman was so determined to walk  -  that she immediately got up and out, and then pushed the wheelchair away from her so as to give her more space to walk around – it was amazing – her zeal! She walked right across the front of the church and back several times by herself without any help. Both she and her husband were both radically changed that night.!! They both gave their lives to Jesus Christ and making a solemn vow not to worship any other god/idol. Praise GOD!!

From that night on it was like a spiritual release in that area of the city  –  as we then experienced a lot of Hindus then coming to the church asking the Pastors for both prayer and salvation. All to the Glory to GOD!!

During this Crusade, we also had demons go, cancer lumps go, kidney stones go, issues of blood go, deaf ears hear, diabetes go, epilepsy go, serious pain in the back and various other sicknesses go also. All to the Glory of God!!
PRAISE THE LORD!!

Bibles in South Africa:
We were sponsored financially by an anonymous donor in New Zealand to buy Bibles for South Africa.

Ros scoured the net to find out our best value for money, and then placed in an order. We got a fantastic “value for money” on these bibles!!

The bibles that we ordered were printed in Peru, sent to a big Christian Warehouse in America, shipped on to their bookshop in Sweden, and then shipped from there down
to South Africa to then be distributed and given out here to those who do not have, in S.A.
