November/December 2005 Hi everyone, Well, we have finally come to that time of the year… again! Have a fantastic Christmas as we remember our dear Lords birth over this time of celebration. Prison Ministry: At the beginning of November we were finally able to get back inside the men’s maximum security prison of “Sun city” in Johannesburg. It was great to see all the church again that praises God behind iron bars. The fact that we hadn’t been able to visit them for so many months – but they were still so strong in the Lord…. In fact, as not all inmates we able to come out to be amongst us in the service in the open courtyard this time, those who weren’t able to get permission in time to come out decided to start their own church service inside the cells as well. I’m telling you now – the sound of the men singing and worshipping inside the prison was just as strong as Des preaching with a loud speaker and microphone outside. WOW - We had one very powerful and glorious day!! We had approx 400 men with us in the courtyard – let alone all those praising God in the cells that were with us in Spirit! Des preached on Ezekiel about “can these dry bones live” – and also “being men of a different spirit”. We had many healings of various ailments, souls saved for the Lord, deliverance ministry etc etc. We ran out of time as we prayed for so many men individually that we couldn’t get the chance to pray for all those in the prison hospital… Hopefully next time!! Gunther Ministering Zimbabwe Trip: There were three of us that traveled up to Zimbabwe on this trip.Des, Ros and another guy named Gunther. Gunther is a well known Christian singer and musician here in South Africa, with his music winning top honors in the music scene, and being very anointed from God! It was a great blessing to have him with us on the trip and a fantastic blessing to all the people of Zimbabwe as he ministered to them! Des ministered in Tent Crusades, Pastors Conferences and also in various local churches for three weeks. Gunther also ministered in song at all these events as well as doing a half hour interview slot on Zimbabwe national radio. It was overall a great trip, and will share further with you all on my next newsletter! Thought: Every moment you are fully capable of living with wisdom, strength, confidence, success and joy. It’s not a matter of chance, but always a matter of choice… and you can make the choices now that will surely get you there! Zimbabwe Testimonies: Deaf ears now hearing. Healed of asthma. Prayer Needs: Financial support on regular basis. Need camping tents and equipment donated for our evangelistic tent crusades and outreaches. God’s wisdom for continuing to plan for 2006 MERRY CHRISTMAS & God bless you all From Des and Ros
