Well, another new year has already begun, and so many things are happening already.
God Is Good!

 Zimbabwe Tent Crusades:

Des powerfully preaching in one of the Tent Crusades in Mabvuku.

We had another great turnout as we had our tent crusades in Nov 2005 up in Mabvuku, Harare, Zimbabwe. We had a few problems along the way as it was already the wet season, and so we had a few thunder storms where part of the tent ended up coming down because of the wind and rain, and so had to revert to a smaller crusade time as we re-erected the tent x2. We still had a great turn out from the locals. The tent was still overflowing every night, and many were the people that found salvation and danced for Jesus those nights.

Zimbabwe Pastors Conferences:
We had some good Pastors conferences in both Mabvuku and Torwood. The Pastors were very receptive and hungry for the word and the spirit. Many times they were on their knees as they humbled themselves before the Lord repenting and getting right with God. Many young new preachers were also there, very hungry also for whatever God had for them. We ministered alongside with Dr. Mark Rosa, a missionary from America to the country of Zimbabwe. Also our friend Gunther (a very talented musician and singer from South Africa) was there at all Pastors conferences ministering to all the Pastors through music and song.

The Pastors were all really touched by all ministries that took place.
The men spoke on the following topics:
1. Fathers in the faith
2. Money in church
3. Vision
4. Christ culture
5. Leadership
6. Men of a different spirit

Many thanks once again to the team from “Zimbabwe 4 Jesus” for all their help in making these events possible for us all!

Short Term Mission Trips:
We are also excited to announce that we are holding some short term missions trips this year.

Angels In Nyeri - Kenya:
This is a testimony that happened a few years ago that I thought you would all enjoy!

I mentioned long ago to you all that God had given Des a word in regards to visitation from angels in certain villages around Nyeri Kenya, at the time of the crusade in 1999!!
When I recently shared with another Pastor the results of that visitation, I also realized that I had never shared it with the rest of you what actually happened...

We were told by local Pastors in the city of Nyeri, Kenya, that the surrounding townships and villages would not attend a gospel crusade in Nyeri. I asked them why??
Because GOD had spoken to me while I was still in South Africa (before going to Nyeri  Kenya) telling me that his spirit had prepared the way, and that GOD would bring a mighty harvest from miles around, and that there were people from surrounding villages and townships that would be saved.

(The reason that the local Pastors did not believe that surrounding towns/villages would be attending the crusade, was because of tribal differences of the    "Mau-Mau" war 'in that area many years beforehand, and the fact that their bitterness still stood very strong, as brother had slaughtered brother, and so they kept to their own regions and did not associate with each other with other bitterness still standing very strong!!  Also, because of Governmental / political reasons.)

I shared with the local Pastors what I am sharing with you now, what GOD had told me whilst still in South Africa.  They all laughed and said it would definitely have to be the hand of GOD!!  They refused to come with us to these villages and towns, as it would put their lives 'in danger and ours.
That night GOD gave me a very clear vision of angels appearing to various tribal leaders, and telling them that a white man would come, and lead them into the presence of the almighty GOD.
 The angels told them don't be afraid because he will take you into Mau-Mau territory.
That same night, the chairman of Nyeri Pastors committee, Pastor Wachira had a very similar dream.  He approached me the next day and shared his dream with me.  He then agreed that we must go to these tribal groups, for GOD had prepared the way.  So, we went that same day.

As we then entered into different villages, there was a sense that GOD was present!!     
(This is the best way one can explain it.)
They received us with open arms, and as we sat and ate with the all elders and chiefs, they each told us threw interpreters that a very tall man appeared to them, dressed in white, and was shining as bright as the sun! He told each of them that a white man would come 'in a white vehicle, and would bring with him one of their tribal enemies, and would ask them to come and be 'involved in Mau-Mau territory, and that they would be brought into the "true light".

The results of visiting these tribal Chiefs and Elders were that each tribal leader that came and attended a local combined meeting, GOD touched them mightily.
... One leader was blind from tribal warfare, and GOD restored his sight fully.
... One chief that was deaf in one ear and also lame, was completely healed.
Because of the effects of this, they then allowed their village people to attend every meeting before the crusade and during the crusade also!
 We had more people from the surrounding area of Nyeri attending, that the city of Nyeri itself.

Fantastic what GOD can do!!
