We had an email this month from a Doctor who lives in the capital “Brasilia” in the country of Brazil.
When Des went over to Brazil last year on ministry, he prayed for this Doctor’s son (21yrs old) who had been diagnosed with Leukemia. He was in hospital at the time and was on treatment for chemotherapy.
He was at such a bad state that the Doctors said to him that there was nothing more they could do for him, and that he was basically left to go home and die! Anyway - Des led the son to Salvation and then prayed for his condition. Des then went out for a meal with the Doctor and his wife and lead them both to salvation and encouraged them in the Lord.
Des told the Doctor to get back to him in a one year period, in order to have enough time for medical tests done to make sure the leukemia was truly gone.
Well - we had an email this month come through from the Doctor stating that his son has now finished all the tests over a one year period, and is medically..… COMPLETELY HEALED!!
PRAISE THE LORD!
