12TH DECEMBER  ‘2000

Dear friends and family,

I felt I had to write to you all to give you an update on Des’s recovery on his back, as he went to see the specialist yesterday for another examination.

When he went yesterday, the specialist reminded him that the last time Des was there for an examination, he asked him to leave his x-rays with him.
(This is what happened since then)

Well, when Des left that previous time, he then went back to look and examine Des’s x-rays again for a closer examination – as he wasn’t sure, but felt he may have picked something up.
He then went and took Des’s x-rays to the radiologist himself to ask him a few questions to see what the radiologist thought.
They both examined very closely the x-rays, and  “the long and the short of it”  is that they both decided that they felt that there was originally not only 1 broken vertebrae – but in actual fact – there was 3.

 –WOW-

(I was in a bit of a state of shock, when Des told me all this)

What should have taken place – if they had seen these fractures on the other 2 vertebras is that Des  “SHOULD HAVE” had an immediate surgery on his back, and had a pin put through his spine, and he be laid flat on a bed for possibly MONTHS .

OUR GOD IS A GOOD GOD, as it wasn’t man that did the immediate surgery on Des, but in actual fact, It was our GOD almighty!!
He did fantastic surgery, as Des can already sit and walk, and drive again.
All praise to his glorious name!!

Des is not yet 100% healed yet, but is definitely on the mend, and the specialist told him yesterday that he is very pleased with his progress.
He said that Des will just have to be careful, as there is now 2 other vertebras  to be careful about.   He feels that Des is having an absolutely amazing  progress and recovery. He cannot explain how Des is recovering so well, and so quickly!

Once again – to the glory of GOD!!

God Bless you l
& Once again – a great Christmas to you all

Love from Des and Ros Sinclair
