On Sunday the 24th March 2002 we were invited to go and speak at one of the bigger churches out in the township of Soshenguve. It is called the A.F.M (Apostolic Faith Mission). There was a good attendance! Des did a sermon on “The Great Commission”. There was a really good response from the people with their openness. Then he asked all those who needed prayer for healing to quickly come up the front, as the spirit was moving. At least three quarters of the people stood up and came to the front. We started church at 10:30 and were still praying for people at 14:45. GOD moved incredibly!! There was those demonically possessed were then healed, eyes seeing, pain gone, etc etc .
MIRACLE OF THAT MEETING:
12 years ago this woman was in a motor accident, and was now confined to a wheelchair as she could no longer stand or walk. Her back was broken, several vertebras were crushed, & one of her hips was also crushed. Her leg muscles were terribly shrunk. She was in agonising constant pain and if she moved in the slightest – the pain was extremely intense. 12 years she was confined to this wheelchair - in constant pain!
Des, Ros and their interpreter prayed for this woman and the holy Spirit came upon her. After praying for her, all her pain was then GONE. She could move her legs freely - so we left her to do exercises for 10 minutes with her legs, while we went and prayed with other people that had come up for prayer. When we came back to her... We prayed again, and so she then got the courage to stand up (with a little bit of help). We then got her wheelchair and put it in front of her, and she walked forward by herself holding onto it. She went up and down the middle ile of the church hanging onto her wheelchair and WALKING! She is now having regular exercises to help get back the strength of her muscles in her arms and legs. ALL PRAISE BE TO GOD... SHE IS NOW HEALED!!
