Zimbabwe Pastors Conference PDF Print E-mail
Written by Ros

In December last year we finished our last newsletter off by telling you about some revival meetings we had in Harare Zimbabwe. We would like to start off this year by sharing about the fantastic National Pastors Conference we had in Gweru Zimbabwe in December last year. The conference was for the Christian Evangelistic Association of Zimbabwe (C.E.A). It went for 4 days straight at a Baptist Conference Training Centre. We had quite a few different speakers, as it went in “full on” both days and nights. It was truly a fantastic time as you could see God working on the hearts of many Pastors throughout the country. In the photo below you can see as many Pastors forgot and forgave their differences, joining hands and praying for one another. Then bringing “reconciliation” in the body of Christ.

pc1.jpgEveryone joined in over that week period, from the cooks in the kitchen, to all the Pastors, wives, speakers and children. All wanted to be involved. We had some great worship sessions as the women came up and lead the songs and dancing. (Even the children were up the front being a part of that).

In this photo (right) you can see a glimpse of what the Holy Spirit was doing as he brought “Fresh Fire” upon many of the Pastors and their wives.

As Des was preaching, many people were touched by the Holy Spirit that night in a very strong and powerful way that is not too often seen in today’s society.

This photo (below) is of the Pastors repenting before God about their differences to one another. Many things happened over those four days, from the washing of certain people’s feet, to prophecy, to drunk in the spirit, to repentance on behalf of the body of Christ, to repentance on behalf of the nation.

It was a precious time as God rebuilt the pieces of a movement, and built up and strengthened the Pastors of a broken nation.
