The following letter I received in the post on the 11 August 2004. I was so blessed by this letter that I thought I would type it up just as it was written to me and share the blessing with you. Our God is an awesome God, TO HIM BE ALL THE PRAISE!
Dear Mama Shutte
Greetings in the victorious name of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is a privilege to write this letter to you.
I thank God for you all, you’ve been a blessing to us. Mrs. Shutte I have seen the hand of God moving completely in my life. I am staying in the hospital cell in A section for a treatment of TB. I could not sleep at night because of the pains I was feeling.
I had pains on my right side behind my ear down to my stomach. It started during the week before a revival we had in B section, I could not sleep, I did not eat the way I used to. It worried me so much I even thought that I was dying. When I inhale that’s when my situation became worse. I said Lord please don’t leave me, confessing some Scriptures is what I was doing also. Even though I was confessing the Scriptures telling God that I needed help, the devil was whispering that I was wasting my time. At the same time I knew that I had to trust God as my trusted friend. I stood on the Scripture that by his wounds I am healed.
The day of the revival arrived. When I was sitting down, the Pastor said that there was someone who was troubled by pains and he could not sleep at night. When the Pastor said that, the pain that I was feeling started to die down, until I could not feel any pains. I had something saying go and take your healing. I went forward, I started lifting up my hands glorifying God. My eyes were closed when the Pastor told the Elders to anoint oil on our foreheads. That day I slept like a small baby PRAISE GOD I AM HEALED.
Now I thank God that there is a doctor that is greater than the most intelligent doctor of this world and that doctor is JESUS CHRIST. Mama Shutte now I trust God harder than before and I always pray for you all in the church and your families that God give you strength. After you prayed for us that day felt confident as never before.
